ITs too bad that all the reviews on the Ms.Lin site are aged from 2012 back; it would be nice if someone current had something good to say, but I don't think so. Benny N

We have been coming here for years since it opened as Ling-Lings. The quality of the food under the current ownership has declined. Dishes seem greasier and saltier than they used to be (under the old operators). Service is OK, but not great. We still eat here occasionally and get take-out since it's convenient, but not the best Chinese in the area by far.

I've been coming here for years (a DECADE) and enjoyed it, so when I got chicken skewers with a bad piece of chicken, I wasn't too dissapointed, figured it happens and maybe they didn't notice, and thought I'd tell the server and everything would be fine- they would fix it.WRONG.They did NOT fix it. Not only did I point out this 'bad' piece of chicken, 'look at the piece on the right skewer- see how it is white inside? now look at the piece of the left skewer, see this bad chunk where it is grey?' but the waitor looked right at me and told me it was the sauce. I repeated, no it isn't the sauce- this is a ROTTEN piece of CHICKEN. I pointed this out to the waitor who I had known and recognized for the last decade, thinking they would fix it, but no- they didn't want to take it back and bring me a new skewer. Its so easy to do a minor thing like fix a bad piece of chicken, and satisfy a customer. It boggles my mind that they would argue with me, when clearly it was rotten meat, and lose a customer forever.

I have never written a Yelp review before - positive or negative - but this experience was worth surrendering my virginity. I purchased takeout food from this restaurant. The area is pretty upscale so I expected the food to be above average. I told the order taker that I was vegan. When I got home my fried rice had eggs in there so that was a waste. When I called the restaurant the man on the other end of the line was very rude. He told me that I had to be more specific than saying "I am vegan" because not everyone know what that means and Chinese fried rice always had eggs. If my shoemaker or graphic designer does not know what vegan means I could get that but this is a restaurant. The food is not worth the price; the customer service is certainly not worth the price ...

We had gotten chinese food consistently for years from this restaurant. There have been too many changes in ownership the quality has eroded so much that tonight my husband and I are in search of a better chinese go to resto. The green beans went from nice thin green beans to fat almost too old, and poorly prepared. almost no taste. I told them this and asked what is quality of the beans tonight - they said very fresh - me thinks fresh but still too long on the vine. The hot and sour soup which I LOVED is a sad reflection of its former self. The fried dumplings are still good. The sesame noodles which I loved - now the noodles are too fat, and the amount of sauce and flavor has both been reduced. Sad...

Delicious. Better quality than you'll get in most NJ Chinese restaurants. And they don't skimp (eg, you'll get jumbo shrimp and not the cheap miniature shrimp that comes in a can). Also, if you're a little adventurous, try the green tea or ...?
